Liberty Tree - Spring Time [Something for Everyone]

Locations [H Street Live!]              HOME [H Street Live!]

Are you still looking for that chic, quaint, historic, modern, cozy, restaurant—bistro fare in DC? The Liberty Tree works [in case you haven't figured that out already].

You could not ask for a better combination of chefs and input for this New England-inspired fare that includes lobster rolls, mussels, duck sausage, and flatbread pizzas. Nosh, nom, nom, yum—all have there definitions well suited here.

Go ahead and bring a group of your friends here with varied tastes for cuisines to experience exactly what we mean. You cannot, do not, ever—think of hoarding your dish. You must share at least one bite. For example, even if you're not a big fan of mac and cheese, wait till you taste your food mate's fork full of lobster mac and cheese. Did you know that mascarpone and truffle sauce are part of the ingredients? Yes. and Yum.

To double-check on something, we did scour the Yelp files for a confirmation that you should not expect small restaurants of this caliber to have the best, five-star-type service but who cares—the food and the love from the kitchen quickly overtakes any hurdles in this area. Besides, isn't it kind of avantgarde to embrace any service—like some people already do in New York, Shanghai, and Paris?

Let's not focus on that [as we just have] and you will not be disappointed at all.

IF, by some odd chance that you're not thrilled with the goat cheeses, duck sausages, full wine and cocktail list, just have some beers and a wood-fired pizza inspired by an executive chef from Matchbox. [We did our research]
Cheers!
