Ok, do you like all things French? Walking in the door,you'll know you're predisposed to view Le Grenier [the French on H] through rose-coloured glasses.

 

The atmosphere is nice—comfy, old-world cool. The giant floor-to-ceiling front window provides warmth, as the sunlight bounces off the white-marble topped bar. Exposed brick is softened by white-washed pine boards and simple votives. One cute touch is wrapping the menus with some old-school notebook covers
[le cahier].

The food is very fresh and flavorful. The omlette we encountered was a classic ham and Gruyere, made with very fresh eggs. The petite salad was good and simple—mixed greens with a mustard viniagrette. Tres delicieux. They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner and have a great happy hour with several Le Grenier-crafted cocktails.
